Power Associate, Generator Field Sales
Overview
At Power Support Partners, we exist to be a LITE in the Darkness. We install and maintain standby generators that keep homes running during the moments when power loss would create stress, risk, or disruption for families.
Our values guide how we work:
- Love People: Everyone has innate worth, and we lead with honesty and clarity.
- Improving Always: We stay curious, adapt quickly, and work smart.
- Together We Win: We assume the best, act with humility, and support our teammates.
- Execute with Excellence: We move fast, own outcomes, and deliver quality.
We aim to be the largest, most empowering, and most purposeful generator company. If you take pride in doing meaningful work, enjoy earning trust face to face, and want to build a book of business that compounds over time, this role may be the right fit.
The Role
The Power Associate is the local generator expert homeowners meet in their living room. You guide them through evaluating their home, understanding standby generator options, and deciding whether and how to move forward with a professionally installed whole home system.
You will run a steady flow of company provided in-home consultations and you will own the performance of your assigned territory. Your goal is to deliver a confident, pressure free experience that leads to clear decisions, often securing a signed agreement and deposit on site.
This role is field based and works closely with inside sales, community outreach, operations, and service teams to deliver a seamless homeowner experience.
March 2026 Cohort
We are hiring three candidates to join our March 2026 cohort. This role is part of a structured development program with a clear growth trajectory.
At the 90-day mark, we will assess role alignment and overall performance. Following six months of demonstrated success, team members may be eligible to transition into the Power Consultant career path.
What You Will Do
Deliver High-Trust In-Home Consultations
- Run in-home appointments
- Conduct thorough site evaluations, including load needs, fuel type, placement considerations, and homeowner priorities
- Clearly explain system options, installation process, permitting, timelines, warranties, and long term service
- Provide professional recommendations tailored to each home
- Present a complete solution that includes long term protection through maintenance membership and ongoing service
- Secure signed agreements and deposits when homeowners are ready to move forward, understanding that not every visit closes the same day
Own Follow-Up and Pipeline Execution
- Send a same day written recap after every in-home appointment, clearly summarizing the homeowner’s goals, recommended solution, pricing context, and agreed upon next steps
- Execute a structured, multi touch follow up cadence for every undecided homeowner using calls, texts, and emails until a clear outcome is reached
- Proactively re-engage warm opportunities with professional persistence, helping homeowners move from uncertainty to decision without pressure or manipulation
- Own every opportunity through resolution, whether it results in a signed agreement, a deferred decision, or a clear pass
- Maintain accurate, real time CRM updates after every interaction, including notes, stage changes, next actions, and final outcomes, so pipeline visibility is always clean and truthful
